Inseller vs SiteGiant: ERP Breadth vs Profit Truth (Malaysia, 2026)

Short answer: Both are Malaysian, and both are worth having — but they do different jobs. SiteGiant is a broad multichannel ERP: webstore, POS, marketplace sync, order and inventory operations across many channels. Inseller is a focused profit layer: it reconciles your actual Shopee and TikTok Shop fees against settlement and shows real net profit per order, per SKU and per live session. They overlap surprisingly little, which is why plenty of local sellers run both.

Two Malaysian tools, two different problems

It is fair to say up front: SiteGiant is a home-grown Malaysian platform that has served local sellers for years, and that local depth is real — SST awareness, local courier and marketplace coverage, POS for physical stores. Inseller is also built in Malaysia by an active TikTok Shop / Shopee seller. Same market, same currency, same Raya and 11.11 rhythm — but the two tools answer different questions.

An ERP answers: how do I run a growing multichannel operation without it falling apart? One product catalogue, one stock pool, orders flowing from every channel into one place, a POS for the physical counter, a webstore front. That is a large, genuinely hard surface, and breadth is the whole point of the category.

A profit layer answers a narrower, sharper question: after every fee, what did I actually keep on this order, this SKU, this live session?

Where does SiteGiant (the ERP category) genuinely win?

Give it full credit. If you are running Shopee, TikTok Shop, Lazada, a webstore and a physical POS at once, a broad ERP is doing the unglamorous, essential work of holding that together — inventory that does not oversell, orders that do not get lost, fulfilment that scales. If operational breadth across online and offline is your top need, that is exactly what a full ERP is for, and Inseller does not try to replace it.

Where does Inseller win?

Inseller is built around one thing an ERP report usually is not: settlement-accurate profit.

In Malaysia the fee stack is heavy enough that estimated margin is dangerous. As of the Feb 2026 rate update — confirm on the official Seller Centre rate cards — the load looks roughly like this:

Shopee: commission ~10.26% + service/free-shipping programme fee ~5.94% + transaction fee 3.78% (4.86% on SPayLater instalments) + a per-order support fee (~RM 0.54), plus ~3.24% extra on live-attributed orders.

TikTok Shop: commission ~10.26% + transaction fee ~3.78% + per-order platform support fee (~RM 0.54), before ads and affiliate commission.

When close to a fifth of order value plus a flat fee disappears before COGS, a "top seller" SKU can be your worst-margin SKU. Operational reports built on estimated fees will not catch that; reconciling against the actual settlement figure will. That reconciliation, per order and per live session, is Inseller's whole job.

So which should you pick?

  • Pick a full ERP like SiteGiant if your number-one need is breadth: many channels plus a webstore plus POS plus warehouse, held together operationally. That is a real problem worth solving well.
  • Pick Inseller if your number-one need is profit truth — knowing which order, SKU or live session actually earns after real fees. Start with how to calculate your real profit and why an ERP and a profit tool are different jobs.
  • Run both — very common locally — when you want operational breadth and honest margin. The ERP runs the business; Inseller keeps the profit number truthful.

About Inseller

Inseller was built by a Malaysian seller running an RM-scale TikTok Shop and Shopee business who needed to know the real number, not an estimate. It shows actual net profit per order, per SKU and per live session using reconciled platform fees. It is not an ERP and does not want to be — it is the profit layer that sits alongside whatever operational stack, SiteGiant included, you already run.
