What fees does Shopee Malaysia charge?
Since the Feb 2026 rate update, a typical Malaysian Shopee seller on the Free Shipping programme pays: commission ~10.26% (SST-inclusive — up from 8.64% before the update), a programme/service fee ~5.94%, a transaction fee of 3.78% on standard payments — 4.86% on SPayLater instalment orders — plus a fixed RM 0.54 support fee per order. Live sellers in the Live Xtra programme pay a further ~3.24% on live-attributed orders. All-in, that is close to 20% of the order value before COGS, ads and vouchers.
The SPayLater trap
The 4.86% instalment rate is the most commonly missed line on Shopee P&Ls.
