TikTok Shop Malaysia Seller Fees (2026): The Complete Breakdown

Short answer: A programme seller on TikTok Shop Malaysia pays roughly 18.9% of order value plus a flat RM 0.54 per delivered order in platform fees. That is made up of a commission (~10.26%), a Bonus Cashback programme fee (~4.86%, capped), and a transaction fee (~3.78%) — all SST-inclusive as of the Feb 2026 rate update. Confirm your exact category rate on the official Seller Centre rate card.

Net Revenue = Order value − commission − programme fees − transaction fee − RM 0.54 platform support fee

Your GMV is not your income. Most Malaysian TikTok Shop sellers quote their sales number and never subtract the four fee lines that come off before product cost, ads, and affiliate commission. Here is the full stack.

How much does TikTok Shop charge per order?

There are four platform fee lines, all SST-inclusive at the rates below (as of the Feb 2026 update — always confirm on the official rate card, since commission is category-based):

Fee lineRate (2026)Notes
Commission~10.26% (9.5% + 8% SST)Category-based; your category can differ
Bonus Cashback programme fee~4.86% (4.5% + SST)Only if enrolled; capped (see below)
Transaction fee~3.78% (3.5% + SST)On order value
Platform support feeRM 0.54 flatPer successfully delivered order, effective 2026-02-15

For a seller in the Bonus Cashback programme, the percentage lines add up to about 18.9%, plus the flat RM 0.54. If you are not in the programme, drop the 4.86% and you are closer to ~14% plus RM 0.54.

Worked example: one RM 100 order

StepAmount (RM)
Order value (Revenue)100.00
− Commission (10.26%)10.26
− Bonus Cashback fee (4.86%)4.86
− Transaction fee (3.78%)3.78
− Platform support fee (flat)0.54
= Net Revenue80.56

So on a RM 100 sale, roughly RM 19.44 is gone before you touch product cost. Now subtract your COGS, any ad spend, and affiliate commission, and the "RM 100 sale" starts to look very different. That is the gap between GMV and real profit — see How to calculate your real profit.

What is the Bonus Cashback fee, and how does the cap work?

The Bonus Cashback programme is opt-in: it funds buyer cashback to lift conversion, and TikTok charges the seller roughly 4.86% of order value for it. The important detail is the cap — the fee does not scale forever. Because 4.86% of about RM 1,029 is roughly RM 50, orders at or above ~RM 1,029 pay a fixed RM 50 instead of the percentage.

The practical effect: the programme is proportionally cheaper on high-ticket orders and most expensive, as a percentage, on mid-value orders just below the cap. If you sell high-value bundles, the cap matters to your margin maths. Confirm the exact cap threshold on the current rate card, as TikTok adjusts these.

What changed in the Feb 2026 update?

Two things Malaysian sellers should note as of the Feb 2026 rate update:

  • The RM 0.54 platform support fee became effective 2026-02-15, charged per successfully delivered order (RM 0.50 plus 8% SST). It is a flat ringgit amount, so it eats a bigger share of small orders — a RM 15 sale loses 3.6% just to this line.
  • Fee lines are quoted SST-inclusive at the 8% rate. When you compare against older screenshots or third-party calculators, make sure they are on the same SST basis, or your numbers will not reconcile.

Estimated vs actual: why your settlement differs

Every rate above is an estimate. Your actual TikTok settlement can differ because of category-specific commission, active promotions, order adjustments, and returns. A returned order does not always refund every fee cleanly, and adjustments can land in a later settlement cycle than the order itself — more on that in TikTok Shop settlement explained.

The rule that matters: actual settlement fees beat rate-card estimates. If you price and judge margin off estimates, you will be wrong in the direction that hurts. Reconcile against the real settlement statement.

A faster way to see the real number

You can model all of this by hand. To sanity-check a single order or price point, use the TikTok fee calculator — it applies the fee stack above so you can see net revenue before you commit to a price. To compare with the other platform, see Shopee Malaysia seller fees.

Doing it per order, per SKU, across a whole month, reconciled against actual settlement, is where spreadsheets fall apart. Inseller was built by a seller running a real RM-scale TikTok Shop and Shopee business, precisely to show real net profit per order, per SKU, and per live session using actual fees — not estimates. It is the profit layer most sellers try to fake in Excel and eventually give up on.
